The great competition history of SAAB is well none to everybody driving a SAAB. Drivers that got top positions time after time with Erik Carlsson being the most noted. Cars with joy of driving and performance beyond the ordinary, supported by a legendary competition department.
To be able to produce a lot of the material in the XP-manual, it has been a big help to source a lot of the old tuning guides, information on competition cars and two-stroke engines and their tuning. Information has been collected from the magazines of those days, books and also many of SAAB's tuning guidelines.
In the XP-manual there is a lot of information on where to find more historical material that we recommend all to take the opportunity too study.
